Students evacuated from Dana Road Elementary and Vicksburg Intermediate Schools

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — According to a release from the Vicksburg Warren School District, students from Dana Road Elementary School and Vicksburg Intermediate School have been evacuated after smoke was seen coming from a classroom.

The Vicksburg Fire Department and School Resource Officers are on scene responding to the situation. All students and staff are safe as the investigation is underway.
