VWSD to hold State of the District Address

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg Warren School District (VWSD) has announced its 2025 State of the District Address, offering the community an opportunity to learn about district achievements, student success, and plans for the upcoming year.

Superintendent Dr. Tori Holloway will lead the address, highlighting academic milestones, innovative programs, and future initiatives designed to support students and staff across the district.

The community is invited to attend one of two sessions:

• Monday, December 8, 2025, at 5:30 PM – Dana Road Elementary School / Vicksburg Intermediate School
• Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:30 PM – Sherman Avenue School / Warren Central Intermediate School
  

Marcus James, Communications Director for VWSD, said, “The State of the District Address is a chance to celebrate our students, staff, and community. We look forward to sharing our progress and vision for the future of the district with everyone who joins us.”

This event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend either session to learn more about the work happening in the Vicksburg Warren School District.
