David Allison named Kiwanis Club of Vicksburg Firefighter of the Year

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —

David Allison has been named the Kiwanis Club of Vicksburg’s Firefighter of the Year in recognition of his dedicated service to the Vicksburg Fire Department and the Vicksburg community.

Allison received a certificate of appreciation honoring his commendable service during a Kiwanis Club meeting, where Vicksburg Fire Chief Trey Martin spoke in recognition of the award.

Deputy Chief Jessica Cade presented Allison with the Kiwanis Club Firefighter of the Year Award, while Assistant Chief Courtney Reed joined in recognizing him for the honor.

Allison has served with the Vicksburg Fire Department for the past five years. In 2024, he graduated from the paramedic program at Holmes Community College.
