PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (VDN) — The Warren Central High School girls’ soccer team earned a dominant road victory Friday night, shutting out Neshoba Central 5-0 behind a strong first-half performance and steady defense.

Warren Central wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as Laney Bull netted the opening goal to set the tone early. Allie Mason followed with the second score before Jordan Polk added a third to give the Lady Vikes firm control of the match. Avery Hern and Kennedy Smith capped off the scoring spree, pushing the halftime advantage to five goals.

All five goals came in the opening half, allowing Warren Central to play with confidence and composure after the break. Neshoba Central responded with increased pressure in the second half, but the Lady Vikes’ defense held strong. Goalkeeper Emily Harvey played a key role in preserving the shutout, recording six saves as Neshoba attempted to rally.

The win continues a strong stretch for Warren Central as the Lady Vikes prepare for a busy schedule moving forward.
