VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Warren Central High School boys’ soccer team delivered a dominant second-half performance to pull away from Neshoba Central in an 8-1 victory Friday night.

The Vikings managed just one goal in the first half despite firing 13 shots, but the attack found its rhythm after the break. Warren Central erupted for seven second-half goals, increasing both its tempo and accuracy while continuing to create scoring chances in the attacking third.

Nick Lee and Jacob Porter each recorded a hat trick to pace the offensive outburst. Lee continued his recent strong form, scoring three times as he has dominated opponents over the past several matches. Porter matched him with three goals of his own, consistently finishing chances created by the Vikings’ pressure.

Luke Bond and Altuwati Ward also found the back of the net, adding one goal apiece. Mahamed Shuaibi contributed two saves as Warren Central overwhelmed Neshoba Central with sustained possession and an aggressive attacking approach.

Neshoba Central’s lone goal came on a well-placed free kick, but the Vikings’ defense tightened in the second half to prevent any momentum shift.
