Johnson receives 2025 Student Award of Excellence

VICKSBURG, Miss., (VDN) — Alcorn State University recently recognized a Vicksburg native, ArShayla Johnson, for excellence.

Johnson is a former 2022 Vicksburg High School graduate and STAR Student. She was awarded the Student Award of Excellence at Alcorn State University this semester.

Johnson was chosen by a committee to be named the Fall 2025 Student Award of Excellence.
