An Interview with Alderman TJ Mayfield on the state of the city

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Ward 1 Alderman Thomas “TJ” Mayfield sat down with Stephanie Cunningham and David Day of the Vicksburg Daily News for a wide-ranging interview.

The Alderman had no prior knowledge of the topic or the questions to be asked and was told that, once we started, the video would roll continuously until we were done. The topics included city finances, recreation, public works, crime, police department staffing, street litter, garbage collection, and other issues facing the city.
