Three nurses recognized as DAISY Award honorees at Merit Health River Region

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Three nurses were recognized for their compassion and dedication as DAISY Award honorees at Merit Health River Region.

Abigail Harper, LeeAnna Lyons and Tykerria Henderson were honored for the impact they have made on patients and their families through their daily work. Each was nominated by patients and family members who cited their kindness, empathy and comforting presence during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

The DAISY Award recognizes nurses who go above and beyond in patient care, highlighting not only their clinical expertise but also their ability to connect with others on a personal level.
