Knight and Clark receive Top Cop honors

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Edward Knight and Chreka Clark both received Top Cop honors this week at the Mississippi Trade Mart Center in Jackson. The event recognized outstanding law enforcement professionals from agencies throughout Mississippi.

Knight, of the Vicksburg Police Department, earned the honor just months after being named Officer of the Year by the Vicksburg Homecoming Benevolent Club.

Clark, of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, also received Top Cop honors. In 2024, Clark was named Officer of the Year by the Vicksburg Homecoming Benevolent Club.

The ceremony was held Tuesday shortly after the Fallen Officer Memorial, which honors officers who died while serving with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
