Alaina Williams Selected to Participate in the Geeker’s Talkin Hoops in Da SIP Showcase

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg Junior High School eighth grade girls’ basketball player Alaina Williams has been invited to participate in the 5th Annual Geeker’s Talkin Hoops in Da SIP Showcase. The event will be held at the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Gym in Madison, Mississippi on March 22, 2025.

Williams was chosen to participate because she has been identified as one of the top players in her class and the state. According to Geeker’s Talkin Hoops in the SIP showcase, the game will be filled with intense competition with an opportunity to be
seen and evaluated by college scouts as well as media personnel in the state.

Alaina was also named to the All-State Game (ASG) Watchlist. According to ASG, this
distinction is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
