Alderman TJ Mayfield names 1503 James E. Stirgus Street as Ward 1 Yard of the Month for July

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Alderman TJ Mayfield is proud to announce that the property located at 1503 James E. Stirgus Street has been selected as the Ward 1 Yard of the Month for July 2025. The winner was chosen via online voting poll, narrowly defeating 329 McAuley Drive.

This recognition highlights the pride and dedication of residents who go above and beyond to beautify their homes and contribute to the overall appeal of the community. The yard at 1530 James E. Stirgus Street stood out for its well-maintained landscaping, vibrant flower beds, and inviting curb appeal that reflects the spirit of Ward 1.

Stirgus Street for their outstanding commitment to keeping our community clean and beautiful,” said Alderman Mayfield. “Their hard work not only enhances their property but also inspires neighbors and uplifts the entire neighborhood.
