Barry Lieberman

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Barry Lieberman, 74, beloved Dad and PopPop, passed awaypeacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 29, 1951 to Irvin and Blanche Lieberman. He grew up in Silver Springs, Maryland and moved to Vicksburg in 1994. As well as his parents, Dad was predeceased by a cousin, Wayne Reichman.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Josh Lieberman (Blair Thornton); daughter, Katelyn Rayborn; their sister, Mia Mincey; granddaughter, Adley Lieberman; and his four-legged companion, Topaz. He also leaves a brother, Billy, and a sister, Harriet, as well as several nieces and a nephew.

In his younger years, Dad enjoyed traveling, which included hitchhiking across Europe, running with the bulls in Pamplona, and even having a chance to go to Woodstock! Dad was also an avid baseball fan, a pastime he enjoyed with his son, Josh.

There are no arrangements at this time. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
