Bennie Thompson acknowledges Vicksburg native, Samuel Terrett

Jackson, Miss – Congressman Bennie Thompson, the Mississippi District 2 Representative, acknowledged Vicksburg native Samuel Terrett yesterday.

“Graduation marks a significant milestone in a person’s life, filled with anticipation and celebration. It becomes all the more memorable when the graduate receives support and recognition from their community.

Today, I would like to highlight Samuel V. Terrett, a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Samuel has received his Associate’s Degree in Pre- Engineering from Copiah- Lincoln Community College. His favorite quote is, “”Rock bottom will teach you lessons the mountains never will.”

Congratulations, Samuel! May you continue to rise and achieve greater heights!”

Terrett, a graduate of Warren Central class of 2021, won MVP of the Vikings Cross Country Team his senior year, he also held the 4k run record.
