Big Blue Competed Over the Weekend

Vicksburg, Miss.-Warren Central High School’s Big Blue Indoor Percussion and Indoor Winds teams traveled to Collierville HS (Collierville, TN) this past weekend to compete.Both teams placed: Percussion came in 3rd place with their show, “Modern Morphosis”, and Indoor Winds placed 2nd with their show, “80’s Mixtape.”

Both teams are preparing for the WGI Regional Competition set for March 8 at the coliseum. All fans, supporters, and district employees and students are encouraged to come cheer on the award-winning groups.

WCHS’s Winter Guard also competed this past weekend in Gulfport where they also finished in the top 20. They will also compete in the WGI Regional Competition on March 8th at Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood.

WC’s Indoor Percussion is gearing up and preparing to travel to Dayton, OH in April to compete in the WGI World Championships where over 500 teams travel to compete to be labeled as the world’s top teams.
