Bond was set at $750,000 for a Mississippi woman who is accused of killing her husband on Facebook live over the weekend.

28-year-old Kedejah Brown is accused of killing her husband, Jeremy Brown, during an argument that quickly turned violent.

Press release after Brown’s arrest:

Deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call at 500 Greentree Drive around 7:42 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023.

LCSO deputies arrested 28-year-old Kadejah Michelle Brown and charged her with murder after a shooting during which one male victim was killed.

A 28-year-old male victim who lived in the residence died from a single gunshot wound. It appeared that Brown and the victim were involved in an argument that turned physical. This incident was captured on audio/video on Facebook live.

The deceased has been identified as Brown’s husband, Jeremy Brown, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The Facebook live audio also revealed that someone was crying in the background, which sounded like a kid.

A 9 mm handgun was recovered at the scene along with other physical evidence. Brown was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.

“There was a history of domestic violence between Brown and the victim,” Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said. This was a tragic and senseless murder and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim. Fortunately, Brown is in custody and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable.”
