Parade of Lights 2024 Float Deadline Set for Nov. 27

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Vicksburg Main Street is still accepting applications for this year’s Parade of Lights: The Nutcracker which will be held in downtown Vicksburg on December 8, 2024. The deadline to apply is November 27, 2024.

“All area clubs, churches, organizations, schools, bands, drill teams, individuals, and businesses are cordially invited to participate in this family fun, community event,” said Kim Hopkins, Vicksburg Main Street Director in a statement. “This year’s theme allows you to create floats of pure imagination, from Sugar Plum Fairies, Soldiers, Waltzing Flowers, Snow Queens, or even Mouse Kings.”
