Bre McDowell elected as the Sophomore Class Vice President at Alcorn State University

Vicksburg native Bre McDowell has recently been involved in many student activities at Alcorn State University.

A couple of weeks ago, McDowell was elected as the Sophomore Class Vice President for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. She was also voted as Freshman of the Year. McDowell is a Brave Ambassador and a Royal Attendant at ASU along with being a member of many more organizations.

Bre is a 2023 graduate of Warren Central High School and credits her former teachers Mrs. Erica Taylor-Wilson and Alexandria Burrell for helping her explore career opportunities.

McDowell is now majoring in Elementary Education.
