Bud Lokey Memorial BBQ Cookoff and Flea Market Set for April 5

VICKSBURG, Miss. — The Bud Lokey Memorial BBQ Cookoff & Flea Market will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Vicksburg Elks Lodge #95, located at 1366 Hwy 61 S. Admission is $15 per person, $10 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 5.

The barbecue competition will feature cash prizes for the top three overall teams. The Entry fee is $300 per team with categories available for chicken and ribs or pulled pork, with meat provided.

A separate brisket category is available for an additional $100 fee, with a 100% payout for winner, meat is not provided in this category.

Winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. All proceeds from the cookoff will benefit Haven House and Micah’s Mission.
