VICKSBURG, Miss. – On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, I received a message via Facebook Messenger containing a video depicting a white female engaged in a sex act with a white male. This video has been viewed by multiple members of the community, prompting law enforcement to investigate and take appropriate action.

Update on the Investigation

Through our investigation, we have identified the individuals involved in the video and warrants for their arrest have been presented the judge.

Mississippi Law on Indecent Exposure

Under Mississippi Code § 97-29-31, indecent exposure is defined as the intentional exposure of one’s private parts in a public place or in a manner likely to be observed by others, causing offense or alarm. A first offense is classified as a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine and/or jail time. However, aggravating factors or repeated offenses can result in more severe charges.

Community Concerns and Gratitude

The circulation of such content within our community is both inappropriate and offensive. Social media allows information to spread rapidly, raising concerns about privacy, public decency, and the potential exposure of minors to explicit material.

I want to thank the community once again for bringing this matter to our attention. Your willingness to “see something and say something” has played a crucial role in ensuring that inappropriate behavior is addressed. Law enforcement takes these matters seriously, and we remain committed to maintaining public decency and upholding the law.

We will continue to monitor this situation and take all necessary legal steps to hold those involved accountable.
