Dale Maxwell: 1937-2025

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Eagle Lake’s Dale Knight Maxwell funeral services have been announced.
Funeral services for Dale Knight Maxwell are to be held on Saturday, April 19, in the Cool Springs M. B. Church at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Byron Maxwell officiating. Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, in the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Dale Knight Maxwell passed away on Sunday, April 13, following a brief illness. He was 88. He was the owner operator of Maxwell’s Landing in the Eagle Lake community where he was a fixture of the community. He had worked as a pipefitter for International Paper Co and was a member of the Cool Springs M. B. Church pastored by his nephew Reverend Byron Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents David Ambrose Maxwell and Beulah Davis Maxwell, his brother Richard Maxwell, and Milton Maxwell, his sister Dorothy Booze, Maxine Bunch, Delores Faye Bosley, and Thelma Irene Maxwell Warren.
He is survived by his wife Eunice Culbert Maxwell, his son Roderick Maxwell, his daughter Carol Maxwell, his brother Don Maxwell, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
