Debra Ann Keith Eifling 1957-2026
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
Debra Ann Keith Eifling, 69, passed peacefully at her home on June 25, 2026, after a long fought battle with Glioblastoma.
She was born on March 19, 1957, in Sharkey County to her parents, Bill and Beulah Keith. She graduated from Sharkey Issaquena Academy in 1975 and attended Mississippi Delta Community College until she graduated in 1977.
After getting married to Garry Ray Eifling on September 1, 1978, they moved to Murphy, where they resided until the death of her mother in 1994, where she got to fulfill her dream of moving back to her childhood home in Sharkey County to be near her family.
Debbie worked in administration for many businesses including Continue Care Home Health; Clarke, Bradley, Baker, & Co.; and most recently Helena, where she retired and got to begin spending her time with family and friends.
Debbie was a lifelong member of Anguilla Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Garry; her parents, Bill and Beulah Keith; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, August and Grace Eifling; her sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and J.M. Brown; her sister-in-law, Jo Nell Boykin Keith; and niece, Stephanie Brown Hodnett Stevens.
She is survived by her son, Gustav William Eifling (Caroleen) of Starkville; her daughter, Elizabeth Catherine Eifling Simpson (Heath) of Hollandale; her grandchildren, Sam and Julia Eifling and Bella and Layla Simpson; her brother, Kenneth (Linda) Keith of The Woodlands, TX; her sister, Sharron (Bud) Stigall of Anguilla; her brother-in-laws, Marion (Bonnie) Eifling of Ridgeland, Larry (Carol) Eifling of Hollandale, Richard (Mary) Eifling of Lake Village, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers will be “Her Boys”- Bob Hodnett and Rad Stigall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Keith, Randy Keith, Rod Brown, Russ Stigall, Sean Burnley, Justin Eifling, and Jason Eifling.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kathy Arrington, Tad Carpenter, Susan Caselli, Becky Stigall, Dr. Ruth Fredericks, Dr. Paul Kerr, Dr. Eric Balfour, Dr. Bobby Graham, Lisa Saulter, and Grace Hospice.
Services will be held on July 3, 2026, at Anguilla Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 9, service at 10, with graveside immediately following.
