Dennis Battle Jr. commits to Mississippi Valley State University

Vicksburg High School football player Dennis Battle Jr. has committed to playing for Mississippi Valley State University.

Battle, who is a senior linebacker at VHS, made the announcement last weekend over social media.

In 2023, Battle finished with 75 tackles, five sacks, 12 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. He also made the All-County and All-District Teams in both his sophomore and junior years.

Battle plays under Head Coach Christopher Lacey and VDN will catch up with him at his initial signing day.
