Dr. Flowers to Succeed Dr. Ford as Warren Co. Inmate Care Provider
VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Warren County Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Dr. Jonathan Flowers to provide inmate care and treatment in this morning’s meeting.
In the meeting, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace announced that the new contract would seek to replace Dr. Bob Ford, who is expected to retire on December 31, 2024. Dr. Ford has provided inmate treatment for the county inmates for the past nineteen years.
Dr. Flowers will continue his practice at Mission Primary Care, stating that the jail contract will not alter his hours currently at the clinic.
Dr. Flowers is ABFM board certified and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He studied at William Carey and completed his residency at UMMC.
The contract allows either party to cancel with a thirty-day notice.
Editors Note: Clarified the article to reflect that Dr. Flowers is not leaving his current practice.
