Vicksburg Bicentennial Ball to Celebrate City’s 200th Anniversary

VICKSBURG, Miss. – The City of Vicksburg will commemorate its 200th anniversary with the Vicksburg Bicentennial Ball, hosted by Vicksburg 200. The ball will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 7 p.m. at The Anthony Downtown at The BB Club, located at 721 Clay Street.

The ball is part of a series of events marking the city’s incorporation on January 29, 1825. While January 29, 2025, marks the official Bicentennial date, festivities will continue throughout the year, highlighting Vicksburg’s rich history and contributions over the past two centuries.

The Vicksburg Bicentennial Ball will feature a commemorative dinner. Ticket information and purchasing links will be announced soon.
