Flashes took a road loss to Riverfield
St. Aloysius finished Friday night with a 41-5 loss to Riverfield Academy.
The Flashes started off hot as they went up 5-0 in the first quarter after a 36-yard field goal by John Ellis Montgomery and a sack by Jake Walker that resulted in a safety. Defensively, Thompson Fortenberry and Evan Mallard both grabbed six tackles each and Walt Andrews snagged an interception.
Riverfield would score 41 unanswered points, mostly late in the game as they earned the win. The Flashes are now 1-6 on the year and they will host Columbia Academy for Homecoming on Friday.
