Four local standouts selected for Magnolia Sports Association All-Star Game

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Four local junior high athletes have been selected to play in the Magnolia Sports Association (MSA) Future Elit3 All-Star Football Game. Mike Davis, Jaiden Jones, Richard Albert Jr., and Masiah Robinson will represent their schools in the statewide showcase.

Davis, Jones, and Albert all play for Warren Central Junior High School under head coach Louis Green. They helped lead the Vikings to a 3-3 season in 2025. Robinson plays under head coach Larry Carter Jr. at Vicksburg Junior High School.

Davis starred at running back and defensive back for Warren Central. He finished the season with 525 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown, along with nine pass deflections and two interceptions on defense. His best performance came against Madison Middle School, when he recorded 130 rushing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Davis will play wide receiver in the All-Star Game.

Jones, a key contributor on the offensive line, helped block for more than 1,000 rushing yards this season. The aggressive center also made an impact on defense, scoring a touchdown after a blocked punt. One of his top performances came against Vicksburg Junior High, when he tallied two tackles for loss. Jones will play on the offensive line in the All-Star Game.

Albert, who also played running back and defensive back for the Vikings, rushed for 657 yards and eight touchdowns, while adding one interception on defense. His longest touchdown run covered an impressive 80 yards. Albert will line up at defensive back in the All-Star Game.

Robinson was an all-around standout for Vicksburg Junior High, excelling at both safety and wide receiver. He finished the season with 10 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and added more than 200 receiving yards. Robinson will play defensive back in the All-Star Game.

The MSA Future Elit3 All-Star Game is scheduled for Nov. 30 at East Central Community College.
