Giants won the YMCA Basketball Championship

Vicksburg, Miss.-The Giants won the 2025 YMCA Girls’ Basketball Championship in the 10-12 year old league. They finished with a 6-0 record after defeating the Gators 22-20.

Pharrah Moody led the Giants with 10 points in the win while Kyla Sloan added six. Alexandria Powers scored four points and Victoria Young put up two points. For the Gators, Lauren Brown scored 10 points while Khindle Turner added eight points and Aalaysha Neal put up two points.

The Giants are coached by Becky and Steve Sloan.
