Goldies Oldies win Vicksburg Softball championship with 11-1 record

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Goldies Oldies Men’s Softball team captured the 2025 Vicksburg Adult Softball League Championship with an impressive 11-1 record.

Powered by teamwork and experience, the Goldies Oldies dominated throughout the season. Jack Wright, the youngest member, led the team with 12 home runs, bringing a spark to the veteran lineup.

The front row included Ryan Hoben, Luke Yocum, Kenny McLaughlin, Tommy Sherman, David Henry and Wright. Standing strong in the back row were Benji Maher, Dale Yocum, Derek Dolan, Clay Hudson, Kenneth Mattheson, Nate Robinson and Randy Wright. With a mix of power, chemistry, and solid defense, the Goldies Oldies proved age is just a number, earning their place at the top of Vicksburg’s adult league.
