“It’s definitely bittersweet because it’s coming up on the end but since we are going to Nationals I’m really excited about that and grateful,” Grey said.

Hadley first began dancing at three years old River Point Dance Academy where Bridget Hunt introduced her to the sport. Over a decade later, Hadley is now in a leadership role after being named captain.

“As the only senior I kinda expected it but it’s a lot of more leadership preparation and responsibility,” she added.

As a Flashette, Hadley has helped her team to some amazing accomplishments over the years, including earning bids to Nationals where they finished in eighth place in her sophomore year. She is also an All-American and has earned MVP and Rookie of the Year Awards.

The Flashettes are nine-time state champions and as captain, Hadley plans on maintaining a good image within her team while keeping the winning tradition alive.

“We want to be a good representation of St. Aloysius and that takes a lot of discipline,” Hadley said.
