Help put food on the table for 10,000 neighbors

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Food insecurity is a real need in the community, and this is an opportunity to help the Vicksburg-Warren Partnership reach its fundraising goal and help fight hunger.
The partnership is attempting to raise $6,500 to purchase the supplies needed for the Red Beans & Rice packing event. With your support, the group can pack 2,500 bags —providing approximately 10,000 meals to individuals and families in the community who need them most.
The meals will be distributed through local pantries, including Storehouse Food Pantry and River City Rescue Mission, helping ensure these meals reach people experiencing food insecurity.
Every donation helps and every meal counts
Then, on packing night, the partnership will need 100 volunteers to come together, have some fun and pack 2,500 bags of food.
