VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) – The City of Vicksburg, in partnership with the Warren County Emergency Management Agency and the Warren County Board of Supervisors, has announced the activation of a new city and county wide alerting system. Hyper-Reach will replace the current Code-Red system. This enhanced notification platform will ensure residents receive timely and accurate emergency alerts and information.

A news conference will be held to officially introduce the Hyper-Reach system and discuss it’s features and benefits for the community on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10 a.m. The event will take place at the Warren County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), which is located in the basement of the Warren County Courthouse, 1009 Cherry Street, Vicksburg, MS.

Officials stated that the conversion is the result of a joint effort between all partnering agencies aimed at improving the public safety communications for all residents in Warren County.
