Johnson earns her first wins as VHS Volleyball Head Coach

Newly hired Vicksburg High School Volleyball Head Coach Linda Johnson recently won her first games as Head Coach.

On Tuesday, the Missy Gators defeated Canton in three sets(25-10,25-11, and 25-7). Jamia Grace led with 16 overall points and Jordan Grace had 15 points followed by Kennedy Mullins who had 12 points. Makynzie Dunmore and Lili Kistler both had several digs.

On Thursday, JV won against Terry in two sets(25-14, 25-22). Kenley Henderson and Jermaria Wright both scored 17 overall points while Jamiya Stewart, Teagan Stewart, Zaria Jones, Zipporah Drake assisted with the win. Varsity won in three sets(25-20, 26-24, 25-20). MaKynzie Dunmore, Lili Kistler, Kennedy Mullins, Jamia Grace, Dallas West, and Jada Erwin all worked well together to get the win.

Alicia Cruthirds is also the new Assistant Head Coach. VHS will host Raymond on Tuesday.
