Jonathan Payton Fulgham: 1965-2025

VICKSBURG, Miss. — Jonathan Payton Fulgham of Bovina passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from a sudden illness. He was 60 years old.
Payton loved working on cars, deer hunting and listening to music. He was an auto mechanic and owned Import Automotive Specialist with his friend Bill Hanes for the past 31 years.
Payton was preceded in death by his mother Roxie Fulgham, his grandparents Joe Elmer and Lillie Fulgham and Robert and Dorothy Fulmar.
He is survived by his wife Lanore Fulgham, father William “Bill” Fulgham, brothers Wade Fulgham and Tom Fulgham (Angie), sister Aletha Dillon, son Justin Fulgham, daughters Haley Moore (Tyler), Mandi Fulgham, Sara Barrentine (Bryan) and Emily Robinson (Taurin), grandchildren Audree, Brooklyn, Gentry, Heaven, Jayce, Jaylie, Jaxin, Kamdyn, Sunny and Tucker. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and loyal customers.
Funeral services will be at Glenwood Funeral Home on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. till the hour of the service Saturday. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Victor Hoofman, David Hanes, Tyler Moore, Rhodes Caruthers, TAC Caruthers, and Tommy Suell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Hanes, Francis Jackson, Billy Ray Parker, Bare Ahner, Cash Ahner, David Crouse and Don Ainsworth.
The family is grateful for the dedication and professionalism of E911, and the Warren County Sheriff’s Dept., paramedics and EMTs who responded to the call.
