Jordan’s Way will be LIVE at the Vicksburg Animal Shelter
Jordan’s Way, an organization that helps to place overlooked animals and raises money for animal shelters, will be at the Vicksburg Animal Shelter next week.
On Tuesday, February 20th, starting at 10 a.m., Jordan’s Way founder Kris Rotonda will be at the shelter to host the event. The event will include games, challenges and other festivities all designed to bring attention to animals at the shelter that have been overlooked. Rotonda focuses on animals that have been in the shelter for an extended period.
“I founded Jordan’s Way after my best friend, Jordan, passed away. Jordan was a shelter dog who spent the first 3.5 years of her life being overlooked in a shelter. We spent 11 wonderful years together,” said founder Kris Rotunda.
After Jordan passed away from heart cancer Rotunda set forth to honor Jordan’s memory by “…helping overlooked shelter animals get the attention they deserve.”
Jordan’s Way is on a 50-state national tour to help animal shelters and rescues raise some much-needed money while calling attention to overlooked shelter dogs.
The Vicksburg Animal Shelter is located at 100 Old Mill Road off of North Washington Street.
