VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Kathy Lee Elmore Wykoff, born June 23, 1971, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away on July 21, 2026, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Born and raised in Vicksburg, Wykoff was a graduate of Cosmetology School. Family remained central to her life.
She is survived by her brother, Roy Elmore of Vicksburg; her sister, Virginia Ann Finney, and her husband, Michael, Sr., of Vicksburg; and a loving group of nephews who brought joy and pride to her life. Her nephews include Benjamin Elmore and his wife, Sara, of Houston, Texas; Brandon Elmore of Vicksburg; Bradley Elmore of Brandon, Miss.; Michael Finney, Jr., and his wife, Lori, of Vicksburg; and Matt Finney and his wife, Kelsi, of Cleveland. Each of them shared in the family bonds that Kathy valued so deeply, and her memory will continue to live on through them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Elmore, Sr. and Katheryn Elmore.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in the chapel of Monsour & Patin Funeral Directors with graveside services following at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
