Joseph Joey Muscalino

Joseph Paul Muscalino (Joey) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and formerly of Lexa, Arkansas, passed away January 28, 2024. Joey was born May 4,1957, in Helena, Arkansas. Joey attended Barton High School and was a proud Barton Bear under Coach Frank McClellan. He spent his entire working career of 35 years with the Arkansas Highway Department of Philips County. After retirement, you often saw him feeding stray cats and raccoons that wandered into his and Cassy’s backyard, driving his mother on her errands, trying to buy a winning scratch -off ticket, or telling us he was going to take a “quick run“over to the casino (when we knew better).

He is survived by his wife, Cassandra Cluck Muscalino, son, Aaron Muscalino, daughter, Courtney Muscalino Davis, (Mark Davis) his grandchildren, Jake Davis, Andrew Dillard, and Jolee Dillard. Father in -law, Jack Cluck, sister, Cathy Muscalino Harris, Aunt Lynda Graham, Uncle Jerry Graham (Cathy) and several cousins.

Joey is preceded in death by his parents J.L and Opal Muscalino, mother -in -law, Sandra Cluck, brother- in- law Trace Cluck, and Wayne Harris and both sets of grandparents.

Joey was named for his father and Uncle Paul, but everyone agrees he has always looked and had most of the personality traits of his mother’s brothers…with everything beginning and ending with eating and usually more fun shared with people he loved most.

Celebration of life Service will be held on Friday February 2 @ 1:00 Lexa United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial to:
St. Jude Children’s Hospital
Or
