Key City Brewing celebrates 7 years with ’80s bash, and special brews

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Key City Brewing Company is raising a glass to seven years of craft beer as the only brewery in Vicksburg with a high-energy, 1980s-themed anniversary celebration this Saturday, April 26 starting at 11 a.m.
The downtown Vicksburg brewery will release several special-edition libations to mark the milestone, including The 7th Key, a bourbon barrel-aged stout that has spent the past year maturing in six-year-old Heaven Hill barrels.
Also hitting taps is Ecto Cooler, a tangerine and orange sour inspired by the neon-green citrus drink of ‘80s childhood lunchboxes—this time reimagined for adult palates. The taproom-only release will be available in 4-packs and on draft.
Adding more color to the celebration is the return of Pretty in Pink Boots, a dragon fruit-infused hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with the Pink Boots Society. The limited-edition brew pours bright pink and will be available on draft and in 16-ounce cans.
The anniversary celebration promises retro vibes with neon lights, throwback tunes, and exclusive anniversary glassware available only on Saturday. Partygoers are invited to throw on their best ‘80s gear—think windbreakers, fanny packs, and big hair.
Key City’ Brewing’s 7th Anniversary Bash is a 21+ event and open to the public. Key City is located at 1311 Washington Street in downtown Vicksburg.
