King Solomon Baptist Church to Host Homecoming Celebration this Weekend

VICKSBURG, Miss. – King Solomon Baptist Church will hold their Homecoming Celebration this weekend beginning on Friday, July 19.

Friday and Saturday, the Church will be host to a Garage Sale and other events.

On Sunday, after the 8 a.m. Homecoming Service, the church will serve brunch. In the afternoon, a picnic and security fence dedication will begin at 4 p.m.

Sunday evening, the church will host a comedy show featuring Tim Shrop, beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 for General Admission, and $35 for VIP and Meet and Greet, and can be purchased here.

Church homecomings are vibrant celebrations that honor the history and heritage of church communities. These gatherings often span an entire weekend and include special worship services, musical performances, and communal meals.
