Lady Flashes took down Greenville St. Joe 40-21

Vicksburg, Miss.-St. Aloysius girls’ basketball team picked up a 40-21 win over Greenville St. Joe on Friday. 

The Lady Flashes started the new year off with a bang as they easily cruised by GSJ. Olivia Larsen led St. Al on the board as the lone player who scored in double digits as she finished with 10 points and four steals. Megan Theriot grabbed 11 rebounds to go with her nine points and nine steals. 

Taryn Lusby came away with six points while Farrell Roberson(10 rebounds) and Elle Larson(4 rebounds) both added four points in the win. Annslee Averette(4 rebounds), Mallory Hobson(4 rebounds), and Marley Gibellino all scored two points while Kelci Bingham hit a free throw.

Boys:

The Flashes took a close 53-52 loss to Greenville St. Joe

Anthony McCloud had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists 

Carson Gleese put up 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists 

Carson Henderson 8 points 

Carter Henderson 6 points 

Sadler Lambiotte, Walt Andrews, Laken Bradley, and Dru Gleese all scored 2 points each.

The Flashes will host Lamar School on Monday and Jackson Victors on Tuesday. Tuesday’s game will be for boys only.
