Lady Vikes crushed Columbus in a doubleheader

Warren Central High School softball team smashed Columbus in a doubleheader on Monday.

Game one:

The Lady Vikes earned a 16-0 victory in game one.

Maddy Pant went 2 for 3 at the plate with three RBIs and a double. Makayla Jackson also hit a double while MK Ferguson(2 RBIs), Jenn Smith and Sarah Cameron Fancher(1 RBI) each had a hit in the win. Tyra Bridges hit two RBIs.

Pant finished the game with six strikeouts.

Game two:

WC handled business in game two as well as they came out with another 16-0 victory.

Bridges had a dominating performance as she hit a double along with an inside-the-park home run with four RBIs. Smith hit a double and finished the game by going 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Jackson, Fancher(1 RBI, 3 runs), Pant(3 RBIs), Kamryn Morson(1 RBI) and Adalyn Anderson all had one hit.

KeKe McKay struck out four batters and allowed zero hits while Fancher also allowed zero hit as she struck out one batter.

The Lady Vikes will host Vicksburg High on Tuesday.
