Lady Vikes roll past Greenville 18-0 on Senior Night

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Warren Central High School’s softball team celebrated Senior Night in dominant fashion Tuesday, defeating Greenville 18-0 in a district matchup that ended after three innings.

The Lady Vikes totaled 11 hits in the victory, led by senior Anzley Keen, who went 3-for-3 with a triple and five RBIs. KK Williamson added a double and finished 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Maddy Pant recorded two hits at the plate and tossed a no-hitter in the circle, striking out four batters to lead the defensive effort.

KeKe McKay contributed a double and two RBIs, while Emily Muirhead added a hit and drove in two runs. MK Ferguson tripled, and Mary Clell Allred hit an inside-the-park home run and finished with two RBIs.

With the win, Warren Central improved to 17-8 on the season and will travel to face Neshoba Central on Thursday.
