Mary Jean Dowe, 2024

Mary Jean Dowe (Nana) a cherished grandmother and mom full of spunk and laughter, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024 at the age of 92. She was a beacon of kindness to all who knew her. Her legacy will forever resonate in our hearts.

Nana was a devoted wife to Royce Dowe sharing 46 years in love before his passing in 2001. She leaves behind daughters Donnie Tate and Sheryl Walker, Grandchildren, Ken Tate, Brandi Russell (spouse Clay) Wendi Doss (spouse Clayton) Chris Breedlove (spouse Lavonne) Wanda Chapin, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

We find solace in knowing that she is reunited with her Lord and Savior and her loved ones watching over us.

A graveside service handled by Glenwood Funeral Home Vicksburg MS. Wednesday February 7, 2024 for family only. In Lieu of Flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Copdfoundation.org or Briarhill Nursing Home in Florence, MS in her honor.
