McKinley Phillips and Kaylee Doyle receives their first cheer scholarship offers
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — McKinley Phillips and fellow Warren Central High School football cheerleader Kaylee Doyle have received their first official athletic scholarships. Both seniors now have the opportunity to cheer at East Central Community College if they choose.
Phillips and Doyle serve as senior captains on the Warren Central cheerleading squad.
As captain, Phillips helps lead dances, teach cheers, and maintain team focus. She is also active in several academic and service organizations, including Beta Club, Key Club, and the National Honor Society. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in nursing.
Doyle serves in multiple leadership roles on the squad this season. Like Phillips, she is involved in campus organizations such as Key Club and other student leadership groups. She has not yet decided on her plans after high school.
Neither Phillips nor Doyle is committed to any college at this time, and their recruitment remains fully open.
