Meekins advanced to the top 10 in the Entrepreneur of Impact

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg native Jeremy Meekins has advanced to the top 10 in the “Entrepreneur of Impact” where he has a chance to be featured in Forbes Magazine. He officially made the Top 10 last night.
Jeremy’s ranking in the top 10 showcases the gravity of his community work and the influence he is gaining to create change and inspire greatness.
Now that he is officially in the Top 10, Meekins is one step closer to receiving a one-on-one mentoring session from Daymond John, taking home $25,000, and being featured in Forbes.
For nearly a decade, Meekins has been hosting Celebrity Basketball Game/Back to School Drive that has provided book bags and school supplies to thousands of kids in his hometown and surrounding areas. Last year alone his organization packed over 1,000 book bags.
The Entrepreneur of Impact is a chance of a lifetime for Meekins to learn from one of the most successful businessmen in the world, Daymond John, who is the founder and owner of FUBU.
If Meekins is able to finish out on top, he plans to split the money between Georgia and Vicksburg to help schoolchildren thrive and live well-nourished, and physically active lives.
Voting for Meekins, will further his chance at the opportunity of a lifetime as well as help the Vicksburg community. The top 10 voting period will end on February 20th.
“Donations are greatly appreciated to support the cause and If you’re unable to contribute financially, we would be grateful for your vote,” Meekins said. “Thank you for your support.”
