Patricia Curtis: 1938-2025

UTICA, Miss. — Patricia Curtis, after a lengthy illness, left this earth to meet her maker in the early morning of May 16, 2025. Her husband of 65 years, Carlis Curtis, preceded her in death in 2021.
She is survived by her three children including Scott Curtis, Lacey Curtis Nunnally (Wave Nunnally) and Emily Curtis Mathes (Gene). Pat is also survived by five grandchildren who live across the US. In addition, she has six great-grandchildren. Her only sister, Zoe Henick still has deep connections to their hometown, Yazoo City, MS.
Pat worked for Hubbard Butane for many years and due to a serious car accident, suffered many limitations. Her determination to overcome many of life’s obstacles was evident. Cooking was her passion, and she loved making meals for her family, friends and church.
Funeral services will be held at Utica Methodist Church on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00am with a Celebration of Life lunch to follow. This is exactly 4 years from the funeral of her late husband, Carlis.
