VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Porter’s Chapel Academy  and St. Aloysius took softball losses on Monday night. The Lady Eagles fell short to Madison St. Joe 24-10, and the Lady Flashes lost 18-2 against Copiah Academy.

PCA

The game stayed close with PCA trailing by only one inning until the Lady Bruins pulled off a 9-run inning late in the game.

Lauren Rae Davis hit a double and went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Mia Abdo went 2 for 2 along with hitting a triple while Brooklyn Nicholson and Coley Potter(1 RBI) both had two hits. Raedon Busby and Audrey Carraway both had one hit and one RBI.

PCA will travel to play Park Place Academy on Tuesday.

St. Al:

The Lady Flashes grabbed their two runs from a home run by Ruthie Britton. It was her second one of the year. Kennadi Blassingame, Mallory Spencer, and Megan Theriot all had one hit. 

Spencer struck out four batters.

St. Al will travel to face Jackson Victors on Tuesday.
