Pearl Connection honors 10 community leaders at “Pearls of Purpose” Luncheon

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Pearl Connection’s “Pearls of Purpose” Luncheon honored 10 local leaders for their service, advocacy and community leadership in Vicksburg.

Honorees included T.J. Mayfield, Ola Clark, Demmer Freeman, Angela Scott, Linda Fondren, George Flaggs, Bobbie Morrow, Trudy James Brown, Ruby Green, Shonna Morton and Malcolm Goodman.

The luncheon highlighted individuals whose efforts continue to make a positive impact in the community and help move Vicksburg forward.

The event was held at the Vicksburg Convention Center and hosted by the ladies of the Mu Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
