SCHC to host ‘Karaoke Kickoff’ August 2

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation is kicking off the new school year with a night of music and family fun at its first-ever SCHC Karaoke Kickoff, set for Saturday, Aug. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Southern Cultural Heritage Center Auditorium.

The event is open to all ages and invites attendees to sing their hearts out or simply enjoy the show with friends and family. In addition to karaoke, guests can enjoy board games, corn hole, pizza, and a full concession stand.

“Whether you’re a shower singer, stage star, or just there to cheer on your crew, this is your moment to shine,” Stacey M. Mahoney said in a press release. “All ages are welcome — bring the whole family for singing, snacks, and good vibes as we celebrate the new school year together!”

Tickets are $10 per person and $6 for children 8 and under. They are available at the door or in advance at Eventbrite.com.
