Southern Delta Swap Meet is happening this weekend at City Pavilion
The first Southern Delta Swap Meet will be happening tomorrow morning at the City Pavilion.
The meet organizer, Dana Cotton, said, “We have 18 vendors and 3 food trucks that will be set up and ready for business at 8 a.m.”
This event is a Swap Meet where local people can rent a booth and sell their wares. Inherited collections are a popular item at swap meets, making them exciting because you never know what unique item you may find.
Cotton said, “We have 18 sellers, three food vendors, Home Goods, Homemade Honey, Hand-made leather crafts, African goods, acrylic dipped jewelry and crafts, baby items, coins and collectibles, local home-made candles and wax melts, hand-made stone and wire wrapped jewelry, crystals, tarot and palm readings, Triple J’S PizzaTaco Food Truck, Cowboy Kettle Corn, B&D BBQ!”
Cotton is hosting the event as a passion project, saying, “Why don’t we have one yet is what I told myself! If we successfully get this moving progressively in the right direction we can expand to another location. It’s something for people to do and something Vicksburg could use. There are swapmeets everywhere and we deserve one here.”
