Roderick Sinclair Ringo, Sr., was born July 20, 1975, in Vicksburg, MS, to Bertha Davenport and Robert Flaggs.

As a man of faith, Rod’s spirit was nurtured within the walls of Standfield Missionary Baptist Church. He inspired those around him to cherish the simple blessings of daily life. Rod obtained his education at Warrenton Elementary and attended Vicksburg High School.

Rod’s hands, skilled in the art of home remodeling, were not only tools of his trade at Lighthouse Home Improvement Company but also instruments of love that built a legacy of warmth and shelter. His craftsmanship was a gift to the Central Texas community, leaving behind a trail of homes as enduring as his memory.

His hobbies of fishing, poetry, and art were Rod’s way of communing with the world and expressing his reverence for the beauty of life and the mysteries of God’s creation. These pursuits were sacred moments of reflection and joy for Rod. He completed his earthly journey on February 20, 2024.

He was preceded in death by beloved sons, Roderick Sinclair Ringo, Jr., and Rocquaze Ringo.

Rod leaves to cherish his memories: his family who were the cornerstone of his existence. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tracy Ringo; daughters, Rozhanda Ringo, CaMyah Ringo, Rodrianna Ringo, and R’kiyah Ringo; parents, Evangelist Bertha Davenport and Robert Flaggs; brothers, and sister, Romero (Evelyn) Ringo, Sr., Ramond (Cassandra) Ringo, Reginald Johnson, Robert Flaggs, Jr., Jarrod Flaggs, Willie Flaggs, and Tasha Johnson; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rod also leaves to cherish his memories: his special friends, Sonesta Aigoro, Cynthia Moffett, Jonathan Allen, Alon Michael, and Martile Fulton.
